Liam Crilly, CTO of two-factor authentication vendor Signify, has finished in an impressive second place in this year's Easytrack Production BMW Cup. He secured the position by coming in second in the final race at Oulton Park, just 1.5 seconds off of leader and long-time rival, Rob Smith..jpg)
Crilly has a good track record in the Easytrack Production BMW Cup and was champion in its inaugural year in 2004 and again in 2006. The Production BMW Cup race series was designed specifically to provide single-make, exciting and affordable racing for any driver from beginner to advanced. Crilly's Signify sponsored car is a customised BMW E30, 3-Series saloon.
"The event has grown year on year and the 2009 Series was more competitive than ever," says Liam Crilly. "Every race was tough, but I hadn't enjoyed myself this much on a race circuit for a long time. I loved it and am delighted to have finished in second position overall."
When not racing, Crilly is CTO of Signify, the Cambridge-based provider of specialist two-factor authentication (2FA) fully-hosted services that are sold through the channel and enable secure remote access to systems and information.
