Signify Extends its Scope of Secure and Remote Access through RSA SecurWorld® Partner Program

Signify is pleased to announce an extension of its RSA SecurWorld channel partnership with RSA®, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC) to provide a proven and cost-effective managed security service based upon the RSA SecurID® two-factor authentication system. Signify has been an RSA SecurWorld® partner for nearly ten years and its new certification as a managed security service provider (MSSP) is a reflection of Signify's consistently high-quality of service and dedication to providing the world's market-leading strong authentication solution to its customers as a cloud service.

The RSA Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) program is a new specialty program within the RSA SecurWorld program, structured to enable channel partners like Signify to meet rapidly growing information security market opportunities for managed services.

Signify has a proven track record in delivering RSA's market leading secure and remote access technologies as a fully managed service to organisations such as Lovells, Southwark Council, Eversheds and Kier Group. As a cloud service, Signify's on-demand two-factor authentication is quick and easy to deploy, flexible and cost-effective.

While two-factor authentication offers far more protection than passwords, many enterprises have delayed the adoption because of the complexity of deployment, staffing requirements, and infrastructure cost. Signify's managed authentication service based upon RSA SecurID addresses these challenges for its customers and reduces the cost of ownership for safeguarding the enterprise against unauthorised access.

"We are pleased with validation from RSA that places Signify as a certified managed service provider of secure access solutions to the European market," said Dave Abraham, CEO at Signify. "Enterprises around the globe are leveraging mobile devices and laptops on an increasing basis, raising the risk of a security breach and identity theft. We can now provide our partners in the marketplace with cost effective cloud-based, two-factor authentication services to help protect their most valuable data. We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with RSA for many years to come."

"RSA SecurID is the industry leading strong authentication solution with 25 years of innovation and more than 40 million users worldwide. By offering the RSA SecurID solution through a managed service, Signify's customers will become more confident that access to their networks and systems by employees, customers and partners is much more secure," said David Sauer, Business Development Manager, Global Alliances at RSA, The Security Division of EMC. "Signify's partners can now benefit from efficiencies of scale including total cost of ownership and the reduction of resources required to maintain and manage an on-premise implementation."

RSA MSSP partners must adhere to program benefits and be an accredited member of the MSP Alliance Managed Services Accreditation Program (MSAP) or hold industry recognised accreditation for managed services. Full details of the RSA SecurWorld program's benefits can be found on www.rsa.com or through the RSA SecurWorld Partner Portal for existing partners.
