Signify is delighted to announce the appointment of Gerard Kerrigan as sales and marketing manager. Gerard, who brings with him experience from companies such as Integralis and IronPort, will be focusing on developing Signify’s partner channel to deliver 2FA hosted services and strengthening the company’s position as a major player in the SaaS market.
Gerard's arrival is the latest in a series of new appointments at Signify that continues to buck the economic trend with year on year growth of 40%.
Gerard built up a channel from scratch at US start up IronPort, taking revenues from zero to several million pounds in just two years and also worked for Integralis, supporting field sales teams and channel partners in the promotion of their Security Managed Services business. Before joining Signify, Gerard was sales director at SecureTest, growing revenues by over 100% and was chosen to lead the combined services team after the acquisition by NCC Group. He also grew the revenues of NASA spin-off Rainfinity by over 100% and was appointed Managing Director for Europe.
“We are delighted to welcome Gerard on board,” said Dave Abraham, CEO at Signify. “His extensive experience in the security market and working with the UK channel will be invaluable as we further develop our reseller network. With the growth in remote and home working, the demand for strong two-factor authentication to replace basic passwords to access computer systems and sensitive data is a major priority.”
“While many vendors are just starting to enter the SaaS market, Signify has been working with its channel partners to offer simple and affordable, fully-hosted services for many years,” said Kerrigan. “Avoiding up-front capital investment and provide rapid ROI for customers is a compelling proposition for resellers and allows them to take advantage of the growing 2FA market without the need to deploy and support complex hardware and software systems.”
