Signify showcases latest 2FA hosted services at Infosec 2009

20 April 2009

Infosecurity Europe, 28-30 April 2009

Stand K63, Earl’s Court, London

At Infosecurity Europe, Signify, the Secure Authentication Service vendor, has announced that it is extending its flexible, fully hosted two-factor authentication (2FA) service to include software tokens.

Available through its network of channel partners, Signify provides a secure and reliable 24/7 two-factor authentication service to clients who need secure remote access. It ensures that every user is verified and secured using a flexible range of token and tokenless authentication options to suit the needs of organisations, large and small.

For example, regular users can be given an RSA SecurID token that produces a new one-time passcode (OTP) every 60 seconds, or software tokens for Blackberries or Windows mobiles that provide the same level of protection but with the convenience of being provided through the phone; while occasional users – including during emergency situations - can opt for the lower cost Passcode OnDemandsthat turns their mobile phones or PDAs into their authentication devices.

“With more and more people working remotely and logging on to company networks,  it is vital that employers have security in place to identify and authenticate users and ensure that they have  authorisation to access sensitive information and resources,” says Dave Abraham, CEO at Signify. “With the flexibility of token and/or tokenless options, our partners can offer their clients solutions tailored to specific remote access requirements and our fully-hosted service makes this quick, simple and affordable for any company.”

Signify will be exhibiting on stand K63 at Infosecurity Europe held at Earl’s Court in London on the 28-30 of April.
