Usually the support that administrators need is straightforward advice and guidance on how to use the IMC effectively, however we sometimes need to discuss sensitive or restricted information about your service configuration or your users. In these circumstances our support engineer needs to be sure that you really are the authorised individual that you claim to be.
If you are logged into the IMC when you call us, you simply need to click on the "My IMC" link and tell our engineer your current Administrator Verification Code. S/he will confirm that it the right code for you at that time, and then can get on with helping you with confidence.
The IMC generates a new Administrator Verification Code every time you log in, so you can be sure that no-one else can steal your identity and get access to sensitive information about your service by calling our support team and pretending to be you.
